Our final Open Day this year  is part of the Big Bowls weekend and will be on Friday 24th May from 2.00-7.00pm. Please feel free to turn up and be shown around the club, no need to book. If you are wearing flat-soled shoes,  you can have a go at this great game and then arrange some free individual coaching sessions. We'd love to see you!

Two Open Days! Try our taster sessions and have a tour round the club. Thankfully, our bowling green is starting to dry out and one rink will now be open on the club's first Open Day on Saturday 20th April. All are welcome to visit the club and check out our facilities between 11am-5pm. The club secretary Shirley will be on hand between 11am-1pm to answer any questions about joining - or rejoining - the club! Also your first free coaching session can be booked. By the following Saturday 27th April  the whole green should be dry enough to play on, so potential new players will be able to bowl a few bowls and get a feeling for this marvellous game. The club will be open for this second Open Day from 11am-5pm, please wear flat-soled shoes or trainers if you wish to try bowling! 

Tuesday 23rd April. This is the revised date for the opening of the green. Obviously, common sense is needed if it rains! The green opens as usual at 11am.

Saturday 23rd March 2024 7.00pm Our very own Malcolm Bennett will be hosting his Mega Music Quiz! Tables up to four, £3 per head. Booking absolutely essential, please ring Rob or Marion on 01278 641899.

16th March 1.00pm A soup lunch for prospective club members with soup and dessert for £6.00 a head. This will be followed by a members' meeting and signing-up session at 2.00pm. 

Sunday 10th March 3pm Yarrow Brass an afternoon of brass music with refreshments. Tired of the stresses and noise of modern life? Then come and enjoy an afternoon of proper music when  the local ensemble known as Yarrow Brass plan to soothe you with some classic tunes and then rouse you with the odd bit of Oompa! Even better it's a free event... Refreshments will be served. If you'd like to attend, please ring Rob or Marion on 641899 to give us some idea of numbers.

Saturday 24th February 7.00pm Quiz with mein host David Harris. A general knowledge with themed rounds. Tables of 4, £3.00 per head. Booking essential, please ring Rob or Marion Pudner on 01278 641899.

Sunday 4th February 3pm  You are cordially invited to a social afternoon at the clubhouse next Sunday 4th Feb starting at 3pm. It will be a chance to play some darts, dominoes and cards. If you have any suitable games please bring them along as well. The bar will be open and tea and coffee also available. This is a chance to see some old chums as the winter hopefully draws to an end and there will be no entry charge and no need to book.
